• Ultra Board with Styrene Liners – a 3/16″ (4.762 mm) premium board designed for photo/poster mounting – is a heavy-duty foam core sandwiched between two 0.030″ (0.76 mm) smooth Styrene liners, making it one of the smoothest and most rigid boards on the market. The dent-resistant Styrene liners are secured to the heavy-duty foam center with a remarkable bond that keeps the panel flat and rigid.

• Styrene – a 2 mm (0.08 inches) rigid plastic material – is an excellent alternative to traditional cardboard mounts, being the most rigid and durable mounting solution for cost-effective posters. The smooth, and durable black Styrene will not warp, tear, or bend over time. Fiber-based mounting substrates tend to absorb water over time, which leads to bowing or warping. Styrene has no natural fibers and therefore is not affected by changes in humidity. This means no more warping! As an added bonus, it is more resistant to edge and corner damage than cardboard mounts (e.g. gator board), too.

With these mounting hardware options, you can give your artwork the appearance that it is floating off the wall! To complement this unique printing method, we have developed a wide variety of creative and modern ways to hang and display your Periodic Table Prints. Our range of mounting options ensures you get the look you want. Easels and a variety of tabletop stands allow you to display your photos on desks, nightstands, or side tables, while our variety of mounts offers gorgeously frameless wall options. We offer 3 wall mounting options for our metal prints.

Beautiful modern look. We drill holes into the corners of your metal print. The four standoff posts, one for each corner, are attached to the wall with screws (and anchors, if needed), your print is placed on the posts, and the post caps are then screwed on to hold your print tight. Can be used with all sizes, up to 40”x60”. The new tamper-proof acrylic, flat head standoffs are designed with a reverse thread for interior and also outdoor usage. Our tamper-proof standoffs use “reverse threading” with the cap installed with a counter-clockwise rotation. This trick is often enough to deter vandals.  If a vandal were to attempt to access the display, as they try to unscrew the cap using the normal clockwise rotation they will actually be tightening it, preventing them from opening the display. We offer a considerable variety of sizes & dimensions to fulfill any sort of need as well as a variety of finishes for aluminum standoffs: Clear Anodized, Shiny Anodized, Black Anodized, Bronze Anodized, and Gold Anodized, as illustrated below along with the selection of sizes. The elegant finishes that we carry will give your display a unique look that will make it stand out like no other! Our 5″x5″ Float Mount Hangers are attached to the back of the print, and float the print 1/2-inch off the wall when hung, creating a cool, modern look, and giving it a shadow effect. The mount has a large sawtooth opening for easy hanging. High-quality rubber-silicone type bumpers are included on the mount which helps keep your print from sliding on the wall. All varieties of float mounting blocks we carry are illustrated below.

Inset Frames with 3/4″ deep (13/16″ including the MetalPrint) are a great alternative to our Float Mount Hangers. Inset Frames are recessed from the edges of the print, so the print appears to float away from the wall when hung, giving it stability and hanging ability. Available in aluminum finish, with your choice of a French Cleat or Wire Hanger. Great for larger prints 16”x20”+. Inset Frames float the MetalPrint off the wall for a light modern look!
