The Ultimate Periodic Table of the Elements
Description and Features
- Professional Periodic Table is perfect for scientists, classrooms, public libraries, also an ideal match for a science student’s study room or home library, it encourages readers to observe, wonder, think, predict, classify, hypothesize, experiment, and communicate in an effort to satisfy the natural curiosity and tendencies to be adventuresome, experimental, and creative. The unique color-coded layout has been filled with more than 2,000 elemental data for the STANDARD edition and more than 2500 data for the ELITE edition of the most recent accurate and verifiable data, including periodic trends, physical, chemical, and crystallographic terms, all explained and displayed on the same chart.
- For each of the 118 elements, including the most recently discovered and named – at the end of 2016 – heavy elements 112-118, there are between 16 – for STANDARD Edition – and 20 – for ELITE Edition – chemical, physical and crystallographic parameters displayed, together with periodic trends explained, crystallographic conversion formulas, legends, and explanatory notes, examples of molecular and ionic compounds, and other detailed information, all on a single chart.
- All data have been thoroughly compiled from international standards and recommendations by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, National Institute of Technology, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and great scientific articles used throughout over 30-year extensive research done by the authors in the area of nuclear physics, three-dimensional industrial and medical imaging, geophysics and materials’ science, it is 100% error-free and conforms to the latest published information.
- The scientific artwork represents an extensive database of physical, chemical, and crystallographic information of the elements on various size layouts, printed on the best photographic supports used in art galleries nowadays, which is handy for studying, teaching, and performing highly reliable research! A summary of the most important parameters included in the four editions – STANDARD, ADVANCED, PREMIUM, and ELITE – is presented in the table below.
